Exports from South Korea increased by 5.1% from a year earlier to USD 57 billion in June 2024, below market forecasts of a 6.3% gain and after an 11.7% growth in the prior month, preliminary estimates showed.

It was the ninth consecutive month of outbound shipments, but the smallest expansion in three months, supported by sustained foreign demand, particularly for semiconductors.
